Interview with Author, Anita Higman and Giveaway!   Q&A for  A Question of Destiny Can you tell me a little bit about your novel,  A Question of Destiny ? I’d be happy to. It’s basically a rags-to-riches story with a few surprises along the way. Here’s a short blurb to give you a few more details. Lucy O’Brien is about to be given ten millions dollars and a chance to live a life she never imagined. Will this new found wealth be Lucy’s undoing, or can she rise above the temptations within high society and choose to become a nobler version of herself? And will the solitary Andrew Whitfield—a man who watches over Lucy as she adapts to her new lifestyle—cause her to close the door on her dreams or be the key that opens the rest of Lucy’s destiny? How did you come up with this story? I’ve always thought the rags-to-riches concept was fascinating. There’s so much ready-made conflict. Even though we’ve been told by the world that to receive a...

Review of Seasons of Tomorrow  Amish Vines and Orchards, Book 4  by Cindy Woodsmall As love restores Rhoda, a sudden tragedy is the test of faith she never saw coming...  More settled in her heart than ever before, Rhoda Byler feels a newfound confidence living in the Old Order Amish settlement she helped establish in Orchard Bend, Maine. Interview with Lynn Chandler-Willis I am pleased to welcome author, Lynn Chandler-Willis to my blog today.     *Tell us about yourself.   I was born, raised, and continue to live in the heart of North Carolina. I have a son and daughter, each married, who have blessed me with nine grandchildren. I share my home with Sam the cocker spaniel who barks at me when I've been at the computer too long.  *What is your favorite book from childhood?  Treasure Island *Coffee or tea?  Tea. With lots of sugar *Night owl or Morning person?  A little of both. My best writing is at night but I don't like writing too close to bedtime. I can shut down the computer, but I can't shut down my brain so although I may be dead tired and sleepy, I find myself plotting the next scene. *Mountains or beach?  Mountains, most  definitely .  *If you were not an author, what would you be doing?  Wow — you wouldn't think that would be such a...

Author Interview with Jerry Eicher

Interview with Author, Jerry Eicher Jerry Eicher and wife, Tina Eicher I am delighted to be able to share an interview with author of Amish fiction, Jerry Eicher, today.   Please see my questions in red and Jerry's reponses in black.   Enjoy! 1.  I see that you were raised in the Amish culture and faith.  Can you share some of your experiences with the readers?      You grow up somewhat sheltered, which is not that unusual for any dedicated Christian community, I suppose. Our youth group was an absolute delight. Loving, supportive, and an inclusive bunch of people. Both Tina and I have pleasant memories of volleyball games, Wednesday night sewing, ice skating, etc. And riding in buggies.   2.   You left the Amish faith.  Do you ever attend Amish church services and do you still have contact with your Amish relatives?      We have contact at funerals primarily, and the occasional visit. M...
