Review of Book One:  How Did We Become Angry?  Lamb Ministries 7 x 7  by Paula Rose Michelson  I have studied psychology as a minor to accompany my Elementary Education degree and I have read countless books, both Christian and secular dealing with recovery from childhood abuse, and Paula Rose Michelson has accomplished in one short book what all those other books could not. She has demonstrated how to utilize God's Holy Word, the Bible, to restore the lost innocence and forgive oneself. The anger that so many of us have walked around clutching to our chests like a badge can be gone forever and God’s peace can replace it. I truly appreciate the way the author has readers personalize the Scripture verses they say to affirm themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to abuse survivors as well as pastors, teachers, and counselors who are working with those who are recovering from past abuse. I look forward with great anticipation to the other books in her ...

Review of The Naomi Chronicles, Book One, Beginning Anew by Paula Rose Michelson Wow, I am stunned at the bravery and courage I just experienced in reading The Naomi Chronicles--Book One--Beginning Anew.   It is magnificent!   I had so many questions which formed and were not answered as I read the Casa de Naomi books.  I feel like it brought closure to all of my questions about Naomi and  her past and the history of the Jewish people.  What a beautiful testimony of God's love and guidance!  I personally feel that  it was my favorite of the entire series!  It seemed to truly get at the heart of the characters.   It also left me wanting to know more about Chaz and Naomi.....I want them to have children and be happy and grow old together.   I feel that Naomi has missed  so much and deserves to live a joyful and abundanat life was denied her in the past!!           I can not review this bea...

Review of Casa de Naomi, The House of Blessing (book 2)  by Paula Rose Michelson Naomi wants Chaz's love. Chaz loves Naomi but will not forgive his wife lying to him. The attorney wants Naomi's estate. The padre wants the couple to reconcile. Nicco wants to marry Lucinda. Lucinda wants to marry Nicco. Neither will wed until Chaz and Naomi are standing with them when they say their wedding vows. Who will get what they want? Find out when you read the second volume of Paula Rose Michelson's saga, Casa de Naomi: The House of Blessing. My review:  Paula Rose Michelson is a gifted writer and prophet. She is certainly telling the good news through her fictional work in this series of books.   The back of her novel says:   "Fulfilling Messiah's Great Commission through Literature" and she does exactly that in her writing.   I also love how she draws so many parallels between Ruth and Naomi in Casa de Naom i with Ruth  and Naomi of the Bible.   I ado...

Review of Casa de Naomi ( The House of Blessing) by Paula Rose Michelson Fifteen-year-old Naomi wants to practice her faith in public, find her uncle, and help him raise enough money to bring their family to America. To accomplish this she agrees to companion a blind, old woman whose family plans to tour Europe and settle in the United States. Her plans are thwarted when the woman passes away aboard ship, and Naomi is handed over to immigration. While she awaits her interview, an old Tia comes to Naomi's rescue and offers to take her in. With nowhere to go and no one to turn to, Naomi agrees and unwittingly enters the country illegally. This is Naomi's journey from adolescence to womanhood, from frightened isolation and captivity to the noble status of heiress with a mission and responsibility many would shirk placed upon her shoulders. Along the way, she contends with piercing memories, hurtful loss, jealous opponents, a devious lawyer, and a curious priest. Throug...
