A SECOND CHANCE AT HEAVEN book review
As her body lay dying, her spirit began to travel
As a troubled teenager, Tamara Laroux saw no way out.
Desperate for her pain to end, crying out to God for forgiveness, Tamara does the unthinkable and embarks on a supernatural journey that will forever change the way she views God and the value of life on earth. As she plummets from her body to a place of vast darkness, torment, and agony, Tamara’s senses become heightened. She instantly realizes the finality of her rash decision. As she mulls this terrible new reality, she begs God to save her.
What she experiences on the other side shocks and surprises her, but the unfailing love of God ultimately delivers her from an unwelcome fate.
A Second Chance at Heaven is a remarkable memoir of the afterlife that will challenge each of us to ponder the reality of heaven and hell. Her supernatural experience convinces Tamara that the only knowledge that matters in this life is that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Since then, Tamara has embarked on a wonderful journey of faith, walking with the Lord and receiving the inner healing from loneliness and rejection she so desperately needed. The love of Christ delivered her that day and the same love motivates her to share the gospel to this day.
A Second Chance at Heaven is an unforgettable account of one young woman’s encounter with the Lord of Life.
MY BOOK REVIEW:
3 stars 3/5
What an amazing story. I did enjoy this book but found it might have been better if it were a bit more fast-paced. I think that the author is to be commended for having the courage to tell her story, as I am sure many people do not believe her and are ridiculing her for such a fantastic tale.
Those interested in heaven, hell, and the afterlife will like this book.
