Through the snowy night, silver bells ring cheerfully, heralding a season of secret gifts, unexpected chances, and love's sweetest journeys . . .

A SLEIGH RIDE ON ICE MOUNTAIN
Kelly Long
For solitary toy-maker Sebastian Christner, hiring Kate Zook as his new housekeeper is simply the right thing to do. Now she can support her special-needs brother. But one taste of her independent spirit is showing him undreamed-of holiday joy—and making him long to give her a home for always . . .

A MAMM FOR CHRISTMAS
Amy Lillard
Bernice Yoder has far too much to do to entertain holiday dreams. Even if she can help Jess Schmucker outwit his three mischievous young daughters, it's impossible to imagine the handsome widower can see her as anything but a scolding schoolteacher. He never guesses how a magical Christmas Eve will open his eyes to love or how Der Herr will awaken their faith and hope.

AN UNEXPECTED CHRISTMAS BLESSING
Molly Jebber
As much as Charity Lantz's children need a father, the young widow isn’t sure her new neighbor Luke Fisher can ever be the right choice. They’re having more disagreements than snowflakes in December. Besides, he's never given a sign he wants to be more than friends. Can Gott show them a way past their misunderstandings to a forever love?

MY REVIEW of A Sleigh Ride on Ice Mountain by Kelly Long:  This is a precious story of hope and love involving Kate Zook and Sebastian Christner and Kate's crippled little brother, Ben.  Will love find its way to Kate and Sebastian's hearts?   or will they let the chance for a beautiful marriage and home pass them by?   Readers will delight in finding the answers to these questions as they read this Christmas novella by Kelly Long.   I rate this novella 5 stars.

MY REVIEW of A Mamm for Christmas by Amy Lillard:  What can three little bitty girls possibly do to help their dadd find a new mamm for them?  Constance has plenty of ideas when she sees the pretty young teacher, Bernice Yoder.   So she enlists her two younger sisters, Hope and Ruth, in her plan and they set a deadline.   Christmas is a time for magical wishes coming true for children, even among the Amish, and these three dolls want one thing: a new mamm.   What a delightful story Amy Lillard has created.   I could not help smiling and laughing at the things these little ones do to convince their dadd that Bernice is the new mamm for them.   Will he agree though?   Readers will laugh along with these girls as they work their magic on their dadd and their unsuspecting school teacher.   This is a heartwarming story to brighten the Christmas season all year long.   I rate this novella 5 stars.

MY REVIEW of An Unexpected Christmas Blessing by Molly Jebber:  Charity Lantz has been a widow for over a year and she is lonely and longs to give her precious children a new dadd.  When handsome and kind new neighbor, Luke Fisher, moves in next door, Josiah and Beth are quite taken with him and don't hesitate to invite him to dinner before even asking their mamm.  Abe Beachy is an Amish widower with six young children to care for and he wants Charity to be their new mamm.   But she doesn't love the man even though she feels sorry for him and he would be a good dadd to her children.  Josiah and Beth have decided that Luke Fisher is the dadd they want but will their mamm and neighbor agree or will sparks fly between the two?   Luke has a past that caused pain and trauma but can he overcome it and give it to the desires of his heart?  This is an irrestible story and I was rooting for a love match between Charity adn Jess right along with little Josiah and Beth.  I rate this novella 5 stars.  I received an ebook of this collection from netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Amy Lillard

from Amy Lillard's goodreads bio:
I'm a wife, mother, and bona fide Southern belle. Published author, expert corn bread maker, and Squirrel Princess.

I live in Tulsa, though I was born in Mississippi. I moved to the Sooner State when I was seventeen and met my soul mate and best friend not long after. I've retained a little of my Mississippi accent though most people think I'm from Texas. (?) Rob and I have been married for over twenty years and have a son--a mom proclaimed prodigy, of course!

I love homemade tacos, nail polish, and romance novels--not necessarily in that order. I'm a big fan of country music, a staunch proponent of saving the Oxford comma, and I'm shamefully obsessed with all things Harry Potter.

I believe that God is love. I guess that's why I adore romances.

I have always been intrigued with the Amish culture, their gentle ways and slower-paced lifestyle. (And I love, love, love the fact that they stay married for their lifetime.) But until recently I never thought to blend this interest with my penchant for romance. Okay, okay, I'm a bit old-fashioned and even enjoy the gender roles that are present in this culture. I love to cook and take care of my family. Yes, that's me June Cleaver with a laptop.

I dislike people trying to convince me to read the Twlight series (I'll get to it or I won't, either way I'm good with it), gratuitous violence, and strawberry ice cream. (I know I'm alone on this last one, and again, I'm good with it.)

Favorite movies--(besides HP) French Kiss, Maid of Honor, A Lot Like Love, Just Married, and Sweet Home Alabama. Oh, and Miss Congeniality, Sabrina (both versions) and a 1940's movie called Dear Ruth. If you haven't seen it, you should! A-dorable. Anything with Doris Day and most all of Marilyn's and Audrey's.

Molly Jebber

from Molly Jebber's goodreads bio:
I said to my loving husband, Ed, “I’ve always wanted to write a book. A story that readers would get lost in for a while.” He said, “Do it!” My daughter, Misty, brother, Mitch, and Mom, Sue said, “Take Ed’s advice, do it!” So I did. The road wasn’t easy, but the education, Amish research, and ride along the way to getting published taught me to take my favorite verse to heart.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 KJV

Why Amish Inspirational Romance?
I love their dedication to serve God. I visited Amish Country in Ohio many times. They work hard and have such a close knit friendship with each other. It’s heartwarming and uplifting. At the same time, they face hardships and difficult problems just like we do.

God answered my prayers and gave me the best mentor, author, and friend, Patricia Campbell, to hone my skills. I’m blessed to have Dawn Dowdle as my agent, and John S. from Kensington as my editor.

I’m thank for you, the reader, for being interested in my book!

  7. It is hard to describe the joys I get from reading Amish Fiction. The friendships I have made through social media and my fascination with the Amish. I especially love the open friendships from the authors I have come to love. This book reminds me of the reasons I love Amish Fiction. Reading it now.
